Eligibility criteria for INSPIRE Fellowship for Ph.D. 2023:

Educational qualification: The candidate must have secured a minimum of 65% marks or 7.0 CGPA in their Master’s degree in Natural and Agricultural Sciences, Engineering, Technology, or Medicine.
Selection criteria: The candidate must have qualified for the Joint CSIR-UGC NET, UGC NET, GATE, or JEST.
Prior Fellowship: The candidate must not have availed of any fellowship from any agency of the Government of India.
Amount of fellowship:
Fellowship Amount: The selected candidates will receive a fellowship amount of INR 31,000 per month for the first two years, and INR 35,000 per month for the remaining three years.
Research Grant: An annual research grant of INR 7,00,000 will be provided to each candidate for research expenses.
