British Council scholarships for women in STEM, Know How to Apply?

The British Council, the UK’s International Organization for Educational Opportunities and Cultural Relations, announced the second group of British Council Scholarships for Women in STEM.

There are over 100 scholarships available to female STEM scholars from Asia and the Americas, 65 of which are reserved for female STEM scholars from India and other South Asian countries, awarded on a merit basis without country-specific limits.

Eligibility

  • Able to undertake a course of study in the UK for the academic year from September/October 2022 2023
  • May demonstrate a need for financial assistance.
  • Keep an undergraduate degree that will allow them to gain entrance to one of the pre-selected postgraduate courses at a UK institute
  • Achieve the level of English required for postgraduate study/research at a UK university
  • Are involved in the specialization with work experience or a proven interest in their subject area.
  • Are passionate about their course of study and are keen to engage as committed British Council Scholarship alumni.

How to apply?

  • Applications must be made directly to participating universities. Please follow the link on the official website of the British Council under the ‘Study and Work Abroad’ section.
  • The application deadline varies between courses but is from February 14 to April 10, 2022. Please check the deadline carefully with the university you plan to apply to in order to avoid disappointment.
