NMMSS 2022: The National Means-cum-merit Scholarship Scheme (NMMSS) was launched by the Central Government for the students of class 8th to 12th. Under this scheme, students from class 8th to 12th will be given a scholarship of Rs 6000 per month. Students should not face any kind of difficulties in studies, for this purpose this scholarship scheme was started.

Who can apply for the NMMSS scholarship?
For this, at least 55 percent marks should be obtained in the 8th standard. For this, it is also necessary to appear in the selection test. To appear in the selection test, it is mandatory to have at least 55% marks in class 7th. The family income should not exceed Rs 1.50 lakh per annum.

- The student should not be taking advantage of any other scholarship scheme.
- The applicant must have an account with any public sector bank or a bank with core banking facilities.
- To continue with the scholarship, the student must have secured a minimum of 60 percent marks in class 10th. In this, a relaxation of 5 percent will be given to the SC/ST students.
How to Apply for National Means-cum-merit Scholarship?
- Students applying online for the National Means cum Merit Scholarship Scheme 2022 will have to apply online under the National Scholarship Portal scholarships.gov.in.
- By registering hereunder NMMSS, you will have to fill out the application form.
- As soon as you fill out the form, you will get the User ID and Password, through which you will be able to track your scholarship.
